Two Simple Exercises For Building Your Horse's Muscles

The first exercise is riding up hill. What happens when you climb up a mountain or tall hill? Right, your muscles are sore. That's because you used muscles that you normally don't use. So when your horse does it, he uses his hindquarter muscles to go up.


The second is going downhill. Just as you use different muscles going uphill, you use different ones going down. Your horse uses it's front quarters to go down hill so it doesn't go too fast.
