The Myth About The Correction Bit

One myth about the correction bit is that it is a harsh bit but in reality it is a Tom Thumb bit with a port and two joints. I just bought one for Fortune because she ran through her Tom Thumb bit. I am liking this bit a lot so far. It is a little more advanced than the Tom Thumb so you do have to be a little softer in the hands. It helps get the head set and have a calm, and under control, horse. Another myth is that it hits the roof of the horses mouth hard. It can but only if you yank the rains really hard. But in the end, it is a great bit to have around.
Below is a correction bit.
