The Best Bits For Barrel Racing

Snaffles are a good barrel racing bits because they aren't harsh in the mouth and are easy to find. They also are good for horses that aren't as crazy as pro barrel horses. Pictured below.

Curb bits are a little hasher due to the shanks but it gives the rider a little bit of leverage for the horses that are a little bit crazy. Pictured below

Gag bits are only for pro racers that know what they are doing but it gives you the best leverage at a quick speed but if use wrongly it can hurt your horse. Pictured below
