My First Ever Trail-Ride With Fortune

Most people say they have a crazy first trail ride, and mine was no exception! I decided that I would take my first trail ride on Fortune though the fields, and it started out fine with her being calm, till she spotted a deer. I thought, "Ooh no, she's going to bolt the opposite direction," which is what a normal horse would do. But she chased the deer at terrifying speed! I finally got her under control when the deer went out of sight, and ever since, I have been careful when in or near a woods. Although, there are some horses who are friends with deer, Fortune isn't one of them.
