How to Sit in the Saddle Correctly

Do you bounce like a sack of potatoes when you ride? I can help with that. When you slouch in the saddle, all your muscles are loose and not griping the saddle. When you sit strait with good posture in the saddle, all your muscles are tight and gripping the saddle. Your heals should be down and in aline with your shoulders which should be in aline with your ears while in saddle. This is true in all areas of riding (Western, Barrel Racing, English, Jumping, and Bareback). Try sitting up strait when ridding and then try slouching. See if you can tell the difference.
