I needed to get my mini (Feona) a new winter blanket and I didn't know what size to get. So I had to measure her. To do this you measure from the middle of the chest to the middle of the tail bone. I found out I need a 48" blanket. When you put the blanket on, make sure the buckles are in the front while the straps go on the side. Once the blanket is on her back, buckle the buckles in the front, then put the straps under and hook them on the other side, and then criss cross the leg straps and hook them (so there is a lesser chance of a leg getting stuck). Now when it gets under 20 degrees, Feona will be warm.
